Meet MGySgt Joseph Geeter, US Marine Corps Retired. Mr. Joe Geeter is a highly decorated Marine, Military Philanthropist, Historian, and former President of the National Montford Point Marines Association. Joe is tenacious, respected, globally aware and he has represented Veterans Affairs for over 40 years. Additionally, he serves as the Chapter 1 President in Philadelphia ensuring the legacy of The Montford Point Marines lives on forever.

Joe Geeter was born in Chicago, Illinois and joined the Marine Corps in January 1976. Throughout his illustrious career, Joe served in many leadership roles, gained many life lessons, survived and served during combat and peaceful periods and was awarded several Meritorious and Good Conduct Medals.
MGySgt Joe Geeter’s most remarkable and historical accomplishment was procuring the Congressional Gold Medal for The Original Montford Point Marines. Joe has a passion for legislature and is a natural born Change Agent from his military training to his community roles held from former public relations and National Presidency at the National Montford Point Marines Association.
