Todd Devoe is an emergency management scholar and contributing author who wanted to encourage emergency managers and academics to engage with the public after his honorable service as an 11th MEU Hospital Corpsman.

Todd has enjoyed inspiring students in the realm of National Emergency Management as an Executive and Professor at UC Irvine with a concentration on Campus Crisis Management.
As an military trained, overachiever, Todd serves in the City of El Segundo. One of Todd’s roles at the Fire Department entails leading and refining the Community Emergency Response Team protocols and organization while engaging the public to join as volunteers when disaster may strike.

Todd has raised his family well, achieved many accomplishments in his personal and professional life, and is happy to share highlights while working with Marines, Government Officials, Police and First Responders along the way.
