Let’s be grateful to hear the story of transformation today featuring our Gridiron Heroes. Meet founders, Chris and Eddie Canales and how their powerful foundation came to evolved into an Award Winning LA film documentary entitled: Grid Iron Heroes, Directed by Andy Lauer and Co-Directed by Seth Camillo. Tune in now:
Learn how the Canales’ were inspired to stand up and represent fellow players that endured similar injuries. Grid Iron Heroes dedicate their time, resources and testimony to research and advocacy for fellow Spinal Cord Injury patients and the awareness about issues pertaining to better legislation as to what happens on the football field; before, during and after the game and with the seriousness of potential risks and life-changing injuries sustained more often than we want to recognize to our players and our military personnel alike.
The prevalence of spinal cord injuries is alarming and the undying passion for the sport of Football is everlasting despite the many stories of pain and trauma suffered as football camps implement military and Marine Corps style rigorous training in the roughest contact sport we know and adore. The team camaraderie exists within all sports as in the veteran relationships created as we serve our country so it is bittersweet to play at our own risk. Discover resources and a better way to #BEESAFE on the field in contact sports and service. Yield support to the cause by giving back. Visit www.gridironheroes.org for more information.
Also our fans are filled with patriotism which runs quite parallel to American Football and we salute our military service men and women every game.
Next, get ready to share “Reel Aid in Real Time” a new radio broadcast created by CRS in honor of www.ReelAid.org an organization that promotes higher visibility for small yet valuable charities doing great work in local and remote communities, co-founded by Andy Lauer. The sports show attracts your attention and helps you discover the charity of your choice to support with your host CRS who will aim to help raise funds and promotes awareness in sports advocacy with higher education.
Also on the show, Andy Lauer will help us remember our community responsibility to conserve water, to appreciate the power of Eco-friendly measures we can all practice at home and the healing joy of gardening and micro farming in the Golden State.
CRS Productions are made possible by Community Partners of 2016: Mixed Chicks, Barstow Community College and Webster University Los Angeles Air Force Base Campus who make Educating Our Veterans a family affair with gratitude and empathy.
