“THANK A VET!” by Sgt. Maj. Jesse Acosta, USAR (Ret.)
The most renowned statement anyone can make is: “Thank You”. The Thank You to our Veterans, fellow service men and women and their families is the deepest most empathetic expression of gratitude we can yield especially to the Soldiers that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Join us on The Christina Silva Show, May 18, 2016 to hear the testimony, courage and inspiration by our very own Sgt. Maj. (Ret.), Jesse Acosta, Founder of http://www.TAVNOW.org.
Resiliency is learned by the telling of our military stories and the sharing of our life stories and a friend, a comrade helps us through transitional times as we separate from service as able-bodied or as Valiant Disabled American Veterans. We cannot do it alone, we need one another along with the resources of powerful organizations like the National Veterans Foundation. Also joining us is friend and advocate of Sgt. Maj. (Ret.) Jesse Acosta, Mr. Shad Meshad, Founder http://nvf.org to share with us on behalf of our Nation’s Heroes how the importance of media, spreading the word and writing about it supported our troops. Shad Meshad is an amazing pioneer as a U.S. Army Medical Service Officer in Vietnam in 1970, Shad Meshad began pioneering treatment techniques for what would later become known as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is the founder of the National Veterans Foundation and founder and co-author of the VA’s Vet Center Program.
It takes a voice to make a difference, our soldiers to make freedom and our fellow advocates to make a foundation for us to continue Educating Our Veterans about the benefits, recognition and rewards from service they deserve with special care giving and housing, health, employment and respect for a grand job well done from their Camies2Civies.org. Thank you for tuning in to www.LATalkRadio.com/content/Christina-Silva-Show Wednesdays, Live at 2pm on Channel 2 to count your blessing and to #BEESAFE. Semper Fidelis now Go Army Strong!
